Ian and Carolyn welcome you to their gracious Edwardian residence built during Yelverton's "railway boom", where you can recuperate from the hurly burly of today's world in the beautiful surroundings of the Dartmoor National Park.

At the turn of the 20th century, doctors would advise their patients to visit Yelverton for the healthy fresh air and restful surroundings, and today we invite you to do the same with a relaxing break at Barnabas House.

After a day spent sightseeing or enjoying the wonderful local walks and cyclepaths, you can relax in our spacious and comfortable rooms, most with fabulous views across Dartmoor. After a good night's sleep, you'll enjoy a leisurely full English breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients, before heading out for another day of Dartmoor discovery.
