Breakfast is a very important part of your stay at Barnabas House B&B.  We are passionate about our award-winning breakfast which is sourced locally using the finest Devon produce.  Breakfast is freshly cooked to order with a large selection of hot and cold options to tempt you and provide you with the start you need to go out exploring everything that our beautiful area has to offer.

To start, we have a large selection on the breakfast buffet including freshly baked pastries, fresh mixed fruit salad, dried fruit and seeds, Greek yoghurt, cereals including granola and muesli, fresh fruit juice and milk.

There is then a wide variety of hot options to choose from.  All served with a selection of teas and coffee, and hand cut homemade granary or white toast.  Choose from a traditional Full English (vegetarian/vegan options available), Eggs Benedict/Eggs Royale, Smashed Avocado on Sourdough Toast with Poached Eggs or Griddled Halloumi, or lighter options such as Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs, or cheese omelette.

Our local butcher is just a 3 minute walk across the green and supplies our sausages and bacon. Our eggs come from Leatside food, Yelverton and are delivered the day after they have been laid. The eggs are all from rare breed free range hens. All our jams and marmalade are made by us.

Please let us know if you have any allergies in advance.  We provide gluten-free options and dairy-free options but please let us know so that we can ensure we have items available.

Breakfast is served 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

HONESTY BAR

​

We have a small bar in our guest lounge which stocks the basics including local craft beer.  This is open until 9pm daily and we just ask that you help yourselves and fill in the form to say what you've had and we charge this on check-out.
